2/ That was conclusion of this thread in which I argued that Trump and his legal team are not preparing a traditional legal defense. They intend to win by torpedoing Rule of Law and leading America into a post-truth era.
3/ Mueller represents Rule of Law. Trump embodies the ideal of RWAs (right wing authoritarians) & libertarians: They want Trump to dismantle the federal government so America can return to the 1920s—the era in which a few white men (and their families) lived like kings.
4/ So of course the Fox-GOP sees Mueller as more dangerous to America. It’s also no surprise, under the circumstances, that they’re particularly eager to torpedo Rule of Law. Our criminal code was devised so prosecutors can reel in anyone connected to a criminal enterprise.
5/ Such propaganda machine is difficult to fight. A friend just emailed me to say “It doesn’t matter what evidence you show them.
